The problem we set out to fix
Getting a car detailed used to mean dropping it off, finding a ride and losing half a day. So most people just didn't, and felt a little embarrassed every time someone got in.
We didn't think a clean car should cost anyone their Saturday.
Building a local mobile car detailing business in Atlanta
Mint Mobile Detail was founded by David Sessions, an Atlanta native and U.S. Army veteran, with a commitment to service, to the local community, and to building an ethical business that puts people over profits.
In 2018, David opened a pressure washing business with a $1,500 investment. In 2019 he joined Emory University's Start:Me program for small businesses and won the top grant for the East Lake cohort. Two years later, Peach State Pressure Wash was grossing over half a million dollars.
David sold Peach State in 2021, but he couldn't stay away from entrepreneurship. In 2022 he opened Mint Mobile Detail, and that same year Mint was named a Nextdoor "Neighborhood Favorite" and Access Atlanta's "Best of Atlanta" in car detailing.
